Bruce Edward Shoemaker

Bruce Edward Shoemaker passed away at William Child's Hospice in Palm Bay on December 7th, 2023. He was born in San Antonio, Texas in 1951. He graduated from Cocoa/Rockledge High in 1971. He worked as a welder on many local projects such as the eastbound bridge of 528, two large football helmets for Disney, and the Launch Complex 41 at CCAFS. He loved to scuba dive and tell jokes ('tell lies' he would say) He married Leslie Clark in 1974. They had three children: Jeremiah, Nesha, and Matthew. He leaves to mourn his brother, David Shoemaker, sister, Karen Bowes, children and grandchildren. A Celebration of life will be held on January 6th at 10 am at Intracoastal Waterway Park, 588 W. Merritt Island Causeway, M.I.
