Dolores Healey Obituary

In Loving Memory of Dolores Rosa Healey
Sunrise: February 9, 1946 – Sunset: June 28, 2025

Dolores Rosa Healey, a devoted wife, beloved mother, cherished grandmother, sister, and loyal friend, passed away peacefully on June 28, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family.

Born to Alice Travillion, Dolores was a woman of warmth, grace, and quiet strength. She spent her life caring for others, both professionally and personally. As a Licensed Practical Nurse in Labor and Delivery at South Baltimore Hospital, and later as a dedicated phlebotomist at North Arundel Hospital, Dolores touched countless lives with her compassion, humor, and tender heart.

She is lovingly survived by her daughter Daniell Bugbee and son-in-law Paul Bugbee, who adored her deeply, and her precious grandchildren Kameron and Kristian Macaw, who brought endless joy to her life. Dolores was also a beloved sister to Jerry Schliting, Richard Slichthing, Geraldine Madden, and Barbie, each of whom held a special place in her heart.

Dolores shared 54 beautiful years of marriage with her devoted husband, Robert Healey. Their bond was unshakable, and Robert’s unwavering love and care for Dolores, especially during her final months, was a testament to a lifetime of loyalty and affection. He never left her side, offering strength and comfort through every trial.

Dolores lived life with elegance and vibrancy. She had a flair for fashion and always presented herself with timeless beauty. She loved seafood—especially blue crab—and secretly indulged in sweets with a mischievous smile. She found joy in dancing, especially country line dancing and 70s hits. Some of the family's fondest memories are of Saturday mornings spent dancing around the house with her to Donna Summer, music playing loudly as they cleaned and laughed together.

Throughout her healthcare career, Dolores formed deep and lasting friendships with the women she worked alongside—friends who became family and stood by her through every stage of life. She treasured these relationships and the memories they created.

As a family, we were blessed to share quiet moments and laughter with Dolores in her final days. Even as her health declined, her spirit remained—always loving, always laughing, always ours. She taught us to find humor in ourselves and love in one another.

Dolores’s legacy of love, strength, style, and laughter lives on in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
