In Loving Memory of Henry Playa (March 22, 1938 -July 21,2024)
Henry Playa has left us to be with our Heavenly Father and his beloved family from Argentina. Henry came to this country from Argentina in 1961 to pursue a better life for himself and his wife, Lillian Playa. He taught us all valuable life lessons that will last a lifetime. A few of his favorites were, "Value what you have today, because tomorrow you may not have it," and "Life is a gift from God; cherish every day!" He had great stories and loved to work with his hands; he could fix anything! He was an avid Yankees fan, loved Argentinian fútbol, and had a passionate love for music. He was also very interested in politics, and Ford was always his car of choice. Henry loved his family and life. We will miss his smile and our conversations.
He leaves behind his wife, Lillian Playa; his children, Henry Playa, Ron Playa, and Maria Paola Rocco; his daughter-in-law, Daniela Playa; his son-in-law, Patrick Rocco; and his grandchildren, Gabriella Playa, Isabella Playa, Paola Rocco, and Alphonse Rocco.
Dad, we will miss you tremendously. You will always be in our hearts and minds forever. Until we meet again. Love you, Dad!
