Lorraine Carpenter was born on June 21, 1951, in Buffalo, New York and she resided in Melbourne, Florida. She passed peacefully, while surrounded by loved ones on January 27, 2024, at the age of 72.
She was predeceased by her parents, Johnnie and Della Carpenter; her brothers: John Wayne and Raymond Earl; and her twin sister: Loretta Carpenter-Flowers.
She is survived by her husband, Charles Treadwell of Lake Placid, FL; her daughters: Jacquelyn Carpenter of Viera, FL; Shawn Holder(Walter) of Palm Bay, FL; Tiemeka Carpenter of Lithonia, GA, Aretha Potts(Bernard) of Fairburn, GA, Sophia Treadwell of Melbourne, FL, a sister-in-law: Maxine Webster Carpenter of Palm Bay, FL; a host of grandchildren(great & great-great), relatives, and friends.
She gave her life to Christ and was baptized in 2018 at the Apostolic Revival Center, Palm Bay, FL. She especially looked forward to spending time with family and friends. She was a warm, kind, and loving person who made others laugh. She had a tenaciously, wild spirit and a big heart of gold. She will be missed by those who knew and loved her. May the memories shared with her survive in us all as we celebrate her life of eternal happiness.
