She was a loving and caring mother, grandmother, and friend, always willing to lend a helping hand and provide words of wisdom. Her presence will be greatly missed, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

In 1973, Mrs. Mary relocated to Cocoa, FL where she joined Mt Zion Missionary Baptist Church. Then later joined Metropolitan Missionary Baptist Church.

Mrs. Mary's hobbies were catering to people, cooking, attending yard sales, fishing, bingo, making crafts, growing flowers, and playing cards with her group of lady friends.

There was never a time you went to her home and did not find food on the stove or cake (from scratch) on the counter.  You never left empty-handed, she always had something for you.

As we gather here today to celebrate the wonderful life of Mrs. Mary Speed. Let us remember her for her kindness, generosity, and love for others. May her soul rest in peace as we reflect on the beautiful memories she has left behind.
