Michael Roger Flaherty

Michael Roger Flaherty, 86, of Sebastian, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 9, 2026. In true Michael fashion, he finally found the perfect wave, grabbed his boogie board, and rode away.

Michael was born to the loving parents, Joseph and Catherine Flaherty. He attended Catholic school throughout his youth, where he became known for his athleticism, strong spirit, and love of life. He carried those qualities with him throughout the years.

Michael found joy in the simple beauty of nature. He loved walking along the beach, listening to the waves, and spending time near the ocean he cherished so deeply. He had a special appreciation for sea life and the peace that came from being by the water.
