Ronald W. Gold, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, peacefully entered into heaven on September 15th, 2023, in Palm Bay, FL. He was 81 years old. Ron was a man of great faith and his love for Jesus was evident in everything he did.

Born on April 16th, 1942, Ron had a passion for life that was contagious. He was a dedicated husband to his beloved wife, Joe Ann, and a loving father to his son, Joseph Sandlin and former daughter-in-law Samantha Burket. Ron cherished his granddaughter, Sophia Sandlin, and took great joy in being present for the special moments in her life.

Ron was a true Florida Gators fan and eagerly cheered for his favorite team during every football season. He also enjoyed watching thrilling NASCAR races, feeling the adrenaline rush as the drivers zoomed past the finish line. One of his unique interests was witnessing rocket launches, and taking pride in the incredible advancements made by space exploration.

Before retirement, Ron served his country honorably in the United States Air Force. He exhibited immense loyalty and dedication to his duties, always striving to protect and serve his fellow Americans. Ron had a special place in his heart for Joseph Sandlin whom he loved like his own son. Their bond was unbreakable, and they found solace and joy in watching college football games together, creating lasting memories that will be cherished forever.

Ron will forever be remembered for his sweet and kind nature. He had a warm smile that could brighten any room and a heart full of compassion for others. His unwavering faith in Jesus brought him immeasurable comfort and peace throughout his life.

Ronald W. Gold leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, and joy. Though we grieve his loss, we take comfort in knowing that he is now in heaven, rejoicing with the angels, and that his journey on this earth touched the lives of all who knew him.

Ron, you will forever hold a special place in the hearts of those who were blessed to know you. May your soul rest in eternal peace as you continue to shine your light from heaven above.
