Willie "CC" Thomas

Willis Thomas C.C. was born on September 21, 1947, to the late William and Ozella Knighton Thomas in Richland, GA. He was the fifth of eight siblings born to this union. He was the oldest of the twin boys. At an early age, he joined St. Mark MBC, in Richland, GA. He attended the public schools in Lumpkin, GA. He graduated from Lumpkin High Industrial School Class of 1966. In 1968 he moved to Cocoa, FL. He married Bettie Graham Thomas in 1969. He received an HVAC Certificate from Brevard Community College. He retired from Florida Today where he worked for 16 years in the maintenance department. He went on to work at Kennedy Space Center where he worked for over 30 years as a Security Guard. CC was a man of many hats, he never met a stranger. He was preceded in death by his brothers Fred Jones, and Willie "BB" Thomas, and one sister Annie Mae Thomas Jordan. CC Leaves to cherish two daughters: Tanya Harris of Cocoa, FL, and Crystal Thomas of Rockledge, FL. Three Grandsons, Trevell "Boy Boy" Milledge of Rockledge, FL, Early Ashton Harris of Cocoa, FL, and Danan Jones of Rockledge, FL and one special Princess Tatum Harris, of Cocoa, FL. Two sisters Gussie Thomas of Richland, GA, and Patricia (Clifford) Hammond of Royal Palm Beach, FL. Two brothers, David Thomas of Americus, GA, and John Thomas of Richland, GA, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
